A lot of malaysians are conservatives, try breaking the tradition or norm in your family and you see the ruckus it comes. Hell just try telling your dad not to simply litter.

LGBT is not the norm for a lot of families here so they cant accept it

for ppl like me who is active in NGO and other related activities to help those who are being abused (not only LGBT related), the statistics on how a person being involved LGBT is due to some kind of abuse is very much is true. From my own experience, its 100% although the numerous statistics averaged around 95%.
The abuse cut across religion, strata in society, economic, region. Not necessary someone who is religious / non-religious will not abuse or have been abused in the past and show effect where psychologically they are LGBT inclined.

Anyway, I as usual wasted my time here, this issue will be better discussed in serius kopitiam.
