Bought a bottle of kimchi from NSK. It is of the same brand as shown in the picture below...
Keep it in the refrigerator. Now the fridge is filled with stinky smell puke.gif

Is it normal hmm.gif
What other brands can you recommend?

If u close the container nicely it should not smell

But you can take a piece of kitchen towel and fold it, make it fully wet and place it in the fridge, the stench will go away

Works like charm

Even before I opened the seal of the bottle it was already smelly.

Anyway, will try the wet towel method.

Sambal belacan is my favorites. Eat with cucumber, and nasi putih kosong.

The only prob, its hard to find the good one. Most eatheir too salty or to sour.

That's why I ask if the smell is normal.
Kimchi is fermented, but those we eat in restaurant don't have this smell.
