In West Malaysia, TNB is now building its open access fibre infra managed by its subsidiary Allo.
Celcom is also selling Home Fibre on their network.

Celcom had setup a booth there at their launch event. Also they have Astro, DiGi and Maxis.Got like 8 ISPs to choose from.

yeah but the coverage is really limited :'(

Celcom Fibre was initially launched from Tawau, Sabah. What I know is Celcom do not provide the username and password for user to customize or upgrade/replace to their own favorite high-end gaming routers. You have to stay with their provided router. If you really want to use your own higher-end router, you may have to setup as AP mode only.

is it true that celcom didn't provide pppoe account, i alrdy had asus-ac68u :'(

The line same as unifi. Stable as it is. thumbup.gif
30M plan, you get 28M / 28M
100M plan, you get 96M / 46M
Ping is almost same as unifi +-2ms. In Sarawak, especially Miri here is 36ms. sweat.gif

i see, so ISP that use tm hsbb infra get the same stability and less than actual speed, well my maxis installation is today so i think i gonna satisfied

celcom or maxis better ?
*
from my experience, when i was about to sign up celcom fibre, they can't detect my address even tho there are a unifi port, they can't do anything to solve it even they are official store, next day, i went to maxis centre and try my luck to sign up but still same problem, my house unit number is missing in system, but they manage and arranged with tm to put my house in system, so luckily maxis got better cs than celcom. thumbup.gif

why people go to celcom or maxis fibre. Why not straight using unfi instead?
*
TM UniFi has asymmetrical speeds, meaning that their upload speed is lower than their download speed. sweat.gif

higher upload speed = better ping/latency

ehhh don't celcom and maxis also using tm unifi ?
*
yup but both celcom and maxis have 30Mbps download and upload, unlike unifi which only provide 10Mbps upload.

like i said, higher up speed = lower ping, it doesn't matter which infra the isp are biggrin.gif

yep. playing ingame is worse. constant lagging. if i use the pingplotter it says i get packet loss at certain time. i dont know why.. its just making me confuse
*
I would say, send those ping and tracert test to Celcom, myb there's something wrong with your routing at Sabah

It's because 30Mbps and 100Mbps are speedcapeed by TM, it's not just implemented for celcom, maxis user also have this BS
