.Afaik, durian trees need good drainage. That's why durian orchards are often located in hilly areas. Durian flowers are usually pollinated by nocturnal bats and moths which usually live in forests/jungles/caves, unless you do manual pollination by hand. So, usually no point planting durian trees in suburban or taman2 areas.
