It's easy to attack back:

1. At Arteta, there was no home grown policy
2. Players who are not registered whose contracts expire next season are better off giving a chance whose contracts are still long in the arsenal.

Willock contract still long so give him chance to improve. Ozil will not be in Arsenal next year

I guess Ozil’s case is down to his comment on Uyhgurs in China which really crosses Kronke’s bottomline with regards to the commerciality of the club in China.

Arsene was literally sacked after the fans boycott our home matches impacting the ticket revenue back then.

Guess it’s all about business and money at the end of the club. I don’t think this has anything to do with Arteta one way or the other.

Definitely the higher up, and not only about China, this includes the pay cut. If not mistake all those who didn't agree to it, didn't get themselves picked afterwards, if not mistaken.

It's a joke when they show empathy about Nigeria(just posted), but not regarding China. It shows the money is more important in the end. Arsenal used to be a different club, compared to now.

It's a combination of everything, from the comments on China, publicly going against the decisions of the club, the pay cut fiasco and his continued toxicity in the dressing room regarding the matter. It probably started with the comments on China and the whole pay cut issue was what broke the camel's back. The fact that he has been really poor on the pitch for a couple years now and then the Gunnersaurus PR stunt didn't help matters.

FYI after his comments on China Ozil continued to start 10 games that came after those comments and played close to 90 mins in almost all of them. If it was solely down to that he would've been dropped immediately or a few games in at most never mind 10, more than 3 months later.
