QUOTE(Rei7 @ Jun 6 2020, 07:18 AM) Pretty sad when you look at Auba's contract atm. We might just sell him, or let him go for free at this point. Still hoping he would renew, but it somewhat seems unlikely. Well, whoever is handling the transfer needs to buck up.The board and those who are involved with transfers really need to up their game. Pepe hasn't been doing that well, a money we could have used to renew Auba's contract, same goes to Ozil's contract which we could just not renew as well last time. But I guess when clubs like Barca want Auba, it is hard to decline for him. Even better if it was Real Madrid since it's his dream club since he was little. Hopefully there is some good news. More good news if somehow we could play well against Man City soon. On Pepe’s deal, the club did spent a fortune to acquire his service and it’s not paid off yet but at that point of time, we didn’t know if he can perform in PL. it’s like more like gamble of luck. I thought I saw somewhere Arsenal brought Pepe when they didn’t had the money to buy. Hope everyone is keeping safe by the way. |

2 matches and 3 injury during the game.
Are we that weak in terms of fitness or we just are unlucky? |

Zero creativity from the team. Seems like a friendly match to me like the city game

Let’s not get carried away with that.
Liverpool was obviously on honeymoon period. They will still beat us flat if they want adjust back to their competitive mode. Mikel now needs money to improve the team, let’s see what Kronke says |

QUOTE(Walaoeh! @ Aug 12 2020, 10:50 AM) I agreed everything you mentioned, he is good when he is in his peak age. The point is he will be much less effective at winger when he getting older and older. I think I saw him played in central mid at Chelsea sometime ago, I thought he fits well in that role, btw Ramsey is available now?Anyway, looks like arteta’s plan is to play him as central creative midfielder, a position that’s less demanding for stamina and pace. https://www.teamtalk.com/news/willian-arsen...osition-chelsea |

Partey was alright, guess he will have quite abit to offer but Leno was a joke.
Reminds me of how much I missed Martinez, nothing memorable for Leno so far |

I guess Ozil’s case is down to his comment on Uyhgurs in China which really crosses Kronke’s bottomline with regards to the commerciality of the club in China.
Arsene was literally sacked after the fans boycott our home matches impacting the ticket revenue back then. Guess it’s all about business and money at the end of the club. I don’t think this has anything to do with Arteta one way or the other. |

It was a pleasure to see Partey ripping their midfield off and Elneny bossing the midfield. Not to say totally lack of creativity but he did tried out a few through pass.
Noticed Laca played poorly as a holding forward, gotta pity him sometimes as he always got bullied by the centerbacks. Will have to see how the team goes in the next few games as I noticed utd players were not comfortable with the diamond formation therefore we may be lucky to get away with the 3 points from OT. Partey did reminded me of Vieira since he came onboard and that was something we missed since he left Arsenal. |

QUOTE(sigheart @ Nov 2 2020, 06:11 PM) Elneny has been a pleasant surprise. I have been one of his greatest critics in the past but boy has he put his head down and really worked his way back with gusto. Last night was one of his finest performance in an Arsenal shirt to date. Totally agree. I was hoping him to continue to perform and Xhaka and Dani will be benched until they realised they need to work harder. This is how you win the fans back, instead of playing the victim card on Twitter and try to turn the fans against the club like a cry baby tossing his toys out of the pram when things doesn't go his way. The sight of Elneny taking turns with Partey surging forward and sitting back when the other goes forward was a sight to behold. A far cry from the backwards and sideways merchant he used to be. Would definitely want to see more of this midfield partnership in matches to come. Either we have found a really effective midfield duo or Man U's midfield are just that shit. |

That was a shambolic display. It only felt like Pepe trying to do something at the end of the match.
Laca been ineffective the whole time and you can see he is trying his best but he was constantly bullied by the defenders. He somehow lost his identity over the years. Willian was nowhere to be seen and the defence line was constantly got harassed by Grealish. Grealish way of playing just reminded me of Vardy during his prime, fast paced, aggressive and good drilling skills. |
