200-250, your budget is quite tight.

Try the Marathon shop at lot10, they got plenty of shoes and some with good discounts.

RM200-250 can probably get a good Brooks shoes, quite nice for running and affordable.

What's your preference for a shoe? Soft & bouncy? Tight fit?

Always get shoe size + 1 (if normally you're getting 7.5 uk, try go up to 8.0/8.5uk) cause the toes will swell after long runs.

Get the shoes for running, don't be like some newbie that wear 'sport shoes' for running. End up foot hurt and bad form.

I see.

Thanks for the tip.

Usually not so savvy about running shoes so good ol' Googling came out with some results and I started reading more articles on Runner's World UK.

Yea, back then I used to just take a decent Bata shoes and use it for running. Does the job but feet may have blisters later on.

More of an avid walker and may slowly ease back into jogging routine when time permits.

Thanks again for the tip on the shoe sizes. I bought a Skechers pair at UK size 7 and it's already quite a tight fit at the ankle area...
everything is awesome

Hard to gauge too bro.

I believe it's personal as every person will have their own requirements/features that they're keen on.

Some prefer comfort/looks/budget/reliability etc.

For me, I'm very much happy with Skechers as their memory foam shoes are very comfortable for my feet [not running shoes] so I decided to get a pair of GoRun from them.

So far so good.

Just wondering if anyone has tried the lazada - too good to be true shipped from China - running shoes. Managed to see adizero boston 8s and adios 4s for below RM200 or the nike Pegasus 36s below RM150...

I guess better not take the risk bro.

Too cheap also dodgy plus I prefer to test the shoes personally as some sizes may not be standardised. Adidas size 8 may fit me nicely but when it comes to other brands, e.g. Nike/Skechers etc, I might be using size 7.5/9.

Al-Ikhsan is alright. What is your budget bro?

Where are you staying? Otherwise a good option would be to visit Premium Outlets [Mitsui/Melaka/Johor/Genting] to get good deals.

Just a quick update - lately been exploring replica shoes and although I am aware that these are basically lookalikes but doesn't even have the same features/materials as the originals...

Vaporfly Next %
Alphafly
Ultraboost 20s

My gosh, these shoes are really quite comfortable.
