As title, my Galaxy 8500 GE the card temperature is around 65C in idle stage with the original heatsink ?

Any recommendation for a better 3rd party heatsink fan ?? Budget is around RM 40-50. (low budget sad.gif )

cool viva is a piece of crap, enuff said. bought one tried it, and my card temp under load/idle was higher then the stock HSF

there is 2 versions of cool viva, cool viva aluminium and cool viva copper, but we can only get aluminium version here.

Oh my GOD, mine one is Aluminium....

i tot 8500GE is using the cooler master coolviva too ? idle at 65oC is seriously high.............

well the vantec/vizo pci cooling solution does do much at low speed, high would help but the noise is not that comfortable

try to get a exhaust fan near ur GPU area, that would help a lot

My casing fan is so near the GPU area, still at 62-65C when idle my graphic card.... sad.gif

Irresistible,

1. how's your casing air-flow?
2. where's your casing situated? (floor? table?)
3. how's the ambient temp? (in aircond room? hot room?)
*
1. Casing Air Flow. got one additional UV LED 80 mm fan & one casing fan lo...
CPU temperature can go as low as 27-28C when outside raining, but averagely at 34C

2. Casing on the table, above the floor. My table got a place to put CPU one, is around your legs place... Got some wood blocking the side air flow lo.... The behind CPU nothing blocking

3. Room temperature OK la, not air cond....
