For RM40-50 its hard to get anything that will outperform the stock heatsink of a 8500, unless you can bargain with someone till his pants fall off

yea.. for your budget.. its hard to get a good vga cooler... I'm using the same Galaxy 8500GT as yours.. i've just change the original heatsink fan with an old Zalman Vf700-AlCu cooler.... cost around RM 110.... there's other new n better model for Zalman out there... its better u change to a new vga cooler because my temp decrease around 5 -7 celcius with the zalman cooler......

i tot 8500GE is using the cooler master coolviva too ? idle at 65oC is seriously high.............
well the vantec/vizo pci cooling solution does do much at low speed, high would help but the noise is not that comfortable try to get a exhaust fan near ur GPU area, that would help a lot |
