Guys... anyone experienced this before? Is the monitor a lost cause already or is there still hope for it? The red lines will only appear on the black background. Spanning the left side of the monitor. Sometimes when I pinch the bottom left of the bazel it will flicker a bit and the red vertical lines will disappear. Sometimes it will be hell and the whole screen will artifact and the red lines will turn blue or green. This post has been edited by antaras: Dec 24 2019, 10:48 PM

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 24 2019, 10:50 PM) Acer monitor comes with 3 year warranty. If your monitor is less than 3 years, send it to Acer service center to get it repaired No, receipt is not required, they can check the warranty immediately through the serial number https://www.acer.com/ac/en/MY/content/highp...enters-locationBut before you decide to RMA it, have you tried using a different DisplayPort cable? I believe the model is XB270HU correct? Sadly this monitor only comes with a single DisplayPort port, so no choice but to buy another DisplayPort cable if you don't have any spares It's XB270HU. Also passed the 3 years warranty. Will need to find a different DP cable to check.

QUOTE(sHawTY @ Dec 24 2019, 11:33 PM) If possible, use a new cable Ouch. If the new DP cable doesn't fix the issue, then you're out of luck, just have to buy a new monitor But... Maybe just try bringing the monitor the Highpoint service center & see how much it cost for them to repair it because I'm sure it's just an internal connection issue or leaking capacitor If it's less than RM300, might as well go ahead with the repair Alrighty... bought a new DP cable and for a moment, I thought it's really the cable's fault. The screen was all good and nice. Then this happened.
After that, the screen will just turn off unless I hold the bezel on the bottom left. I'll give Highpoint a try next. Hopefully it's a simple fix and not too costly. Anyway, thanks again.

Okay. went to Highpoint. Was advised to give up on the monitor. Panel failure and the cost of repair will be around 80% of the monitor. -__- Got myself an LG 27GL850. Now no longer bound by Nvidia.
