The police on its official Facebook page on Thursday (Sept 18) said action could be taken against those who do so under Section 70(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987, which prohibits the use of vehicles on certain roads. "If convicted, those who commit the offence can be fined not more than RM1,000 or face three months' imprisonment or both. "Cycling has become a hobby that has gained a strong following in Malaysia. However, cyclists must abide by the law and not cycle along the highways," the post said. The Facebook post has so far garnered 4,300 likes, 1,000 comments and 2,600 shares. The majority of those who commented agreed that cycling should not be allowed on highways. However, some urged the authorities to provide a dedicated lane for cyclists. I don't know how bad of a bent you've witnessed but the one I've seen first hand are just slight bent & that was on an alu & there was no accident resulted from it. Of course if it was the welded part that broke, then that's no different from a carbon frame breaking.

RB will be much comfier than mtb? the lane i usually use is the PG bicycle lane If you're on the island side, then do you have more friends who ride MTB or RB? It's more common to see lone RB rider but for MTB, usually it involves a group.
