Magnetless means either wired or GPS (if referring to speed)? candence all wireless as im aware of, same with HRM and power meter....

Probably i havent been cycling so much thus not aware of the technologies around me but as im aware off for speed:
1) Magnet sensor which is attached to the rim (if your spokes is weird, then harder to attach, prone to loosing the magnet while cycling). You could detect speed and distance if you are cycling on a trainer unless you are using direct drive
2) GPS speed calculation from the head unit (will consume more battery but more accurate). Wont work with trainer
