Wife managed to damage 2 weeks old bike, so sad 😓

Her palm got scratches, and some minor bruise. She wanted to avoid a toll post but went too fast so lost balance and fall.

She was not able to cycle back so I cycled back alone to get the car. Can feel the bike gears were out of tune a bit. Chain was out, and the handle was actually skewed but I did the realign on the spot.

Made appointment to get the bike checked tomorrow, hope all is good.

Don't have peer pressure oso got social media pressure. See mykayuh group ppl posts baru start kayuh 3 bulan can hantam century, can hantam 200kms, can climb here climb there, can average 37kmh la,  can pull train 45kmh la...

I've been cycling regularly since may last year oso still can't achieve any of that. What did I do wrong?

anyone here uses helmet with visor?

i am using specs, so cant wear shades...  after long ride felt my eye a little strain, due to UV in mid day.

considering Kabutoo vs Giro Vanquish.

I put on clip on sunglass only.

They have that photochromic(most exp), the stock smoked grey, the tinted colour and the reflective mirror ones. I'm using the reflective one..

u mean the clip on lens scratched? scratched mah buang lor, buy another cheap cheap from shopee

I got mine from Rodalink since they are the main distributor for Kabuto stuffs. Now, here's the bad news... there are only blue and pink tinted visors left(the last I seen in Rodalink Bangsar)... I probably bought the only silver one where else someone bought the gold reflective one.

I still use the stock visor for night ride to protect my eyes... but if visibility is too poor for you, just store it upside down on your helmet.
