lots of people came and register & pay at the entrance instead of pre-reg

can see lotsa amazing things. big fat-ass leading peloton of 40+ kmh, super-fit aweks, people riding foldie & fat bikes faster than roadbikes. macam2 ada.

watch ur speed lu...
if u wan target 3.5hrs 100km, u need to be at least 30km/hr by maths.

i 76km on Sunday also take sub 3hrs... but i do hill climb.
*
there's only 2 climbing slope in the track, Turn3-Turn 4 and Turn 10. but i find myself having to shift all the way down to the lowest gear (small chainring x largest cassette) and still struggle with pedalling while i see many others still can pedal leisurely at higher gears. i hope to reach their level soon.

Yes e bikes. Wow didn’t expect them to be so expensive. I thought it would be something like 2-3k.

Like this model:

But I’d prefer to visit a shop to take a look and get some advice.

What chairing you using? 50/34 or?
Try change to sub compact, like eg. Those use by mtb but you will lose some speed.
I also trying to change. Can't tackle climb, need to push &  push...
*
I think it is the 52/36? Dunno I didn't count before. But already at the biggest cassette yesterday I think easily 95% of the whole climb. wife said sudah done. No more next time.

Not only you la... I also stopped so many times to rest and cycle slowly then stopped again.  cry.gif

Some of those guys that are flying pass are regulars. And if you see some old unkers also flying by you, some are using e-bikes!  biggrin.gif  tongue.gif  laugh.gif

Even 14 inch foldies and Bromptons potong me weh... Got one fella bigger fat tummy than me but still goes 3 times my speed. I haven't even hit 2/3 of the climb already see him coming back down already. There's also one Rastafari fella, bloody hell so thin like skeleton, but still overtakes me and my wife and lost him after 2 corners. At some stretch even jogger is faster than us. Malu sial.... Started pedalling at 9.25am, reach the end point at 11.35am. for less than 15km.

Adui 50/34...

So I was going 34x30 and still have to push bicycle... Should I mount a 11-32 cassette instead?

You just got to keep grinding. But if you do mainly hills, gear ratio with 1.2 is good enough. dropping to 1 or below 1 is a waste.
*
I am grinding the whole time, but at some climb, the leg really lembik cannot press down already. That's why have to get down and push. Even walking is tiring that time. That's why was contemplating getting a larger cassette.

But thinking back, I dont do climb often anyway, since I try avoid as much as possible. My Taman rides also flat flat only.

Went and do a bike fit yesterday. Since the bike is the right size for me, there is no major change. Just some slight fine tune and suggestions to try out one by one as I ride along.

berapa damage ?

450 T.T

Whether worth or not we'll see when I do a longer ride after changing my seatpost and pedals.

He suggested I switch to proper RB shoes and pedal. Currently using MTB clips.

phew  sweat.gif

so he just suggest u to change pedal only?
*
QUOTE(Justin.Loong @ Dec 2 2021, 12:52 PM)
Why need to change seatpost?
*
he said i should move saddle 3-5mm more forward but saddle already adjusted max forward. so proposed to change seatpost to non-setback so i can move the saddle abit more forward. current one have 15mm setback. not to say cannot ride but he say i will subconciously try to push back to place my sitbone on the fattest part of saddle. so might as well fix it.

based on current setup, he also suggest to shorten my stem by 20mm, but kautim the saddle position dulu and i might not have to change or shorten less. oh ya he raised my handle by one spacer up... i think by 5mm. i have always wanted to do that on my own before fitting but i thought, "eh, higher means less aero lah". he said "being aero is just a natural result of your own body and legs pressing down on pedal lah, not because you purposely lower down the front" laugh.gif

pedal is because my left leg length is slightly shorter than right leg, he said if i am using rb cleats then we can cheat abit by putting spacer on the left cleats to extend my left foot reach to pedal. it doesnt work the same on mtb type cleats. for now he slightly lower my seat height to compensate for the left leg, right leg have to work slightly harder lor. earlier he also suspect my current pedal could be the cause of my numbness and he swapped out an SPD pedal for me to try out, indeed it feels alot more stable and "locked-in" but the numbness issue still persisted. so it fall back to me whether i want to change out to road pedals or not. my concern still the same - i will destroy road cleats very fast since i walk off the bike alot.
