ask taiko sini, i placed a deposit with specialized store for the allez elite, i have my reasons going aluminium laa
i'm short at 163cm, bike fit based on allez sizing is 52 which is crazy, but a 49 should be nice.
With the RETUL, the shop strongly advise me get the recommended size of 44 from the RETUL result of 44/49.
I was like...aaa...their reasoning is as usual, you can sikit size up a smaller frame with stems, higher this that, but you cannot reduce something too much on a bigger frame. AND, they cakap with my saddle height and the 49 bike size, it would not look COOL, will look more like P RAMLEE basikal with seat post very low.
What say taiko here?
buy size 44, easier to resell to people buying bikes for their wives
on a more serius note, based on retul fit you should have your bb to saddle length, check how far out the seatpost is extended out. I'm 161cm, can use bmc size 48 but the BMC TMR aero bike would look ugly cos the seatpost damn short, saddle very close to top tube. cos aesthetics matter abit to me, some wont mind hahaha

Hi, i am thinking of changing the tyres for the first time. Any brands are recommended? My current default tyres are 32c tubeless, plan to change to tube 28c. Prefer something more durable and puncture protection.
tyres i've used and would recommend: sworks (non cotton), pirelli p zero velo, michelin power competition
tyres i've used and dont have much complaints: schwalbe one (wet grip not so good, otherwise ok)
tyres i've used and wont buy again: challenge strada, vittoria corsa G (1st gen), bontrager r4, conti gp4k.
tyres i might consider buying in the future if got sale and can get cheap: corsa 2.0, goodyear eagle f1, gp5k, something tubeless if i wanna convert since wheels are tubeless ready
