Is it true that the X38 mobo's will only support DDR3 and there's no plans for it to support DDR2?

Yeah, the market of OCer is quite significant also compare to mainstream market
Also the more you can tweak, the more fun you gain

So is this the 1st Intel board that support OCing, or there are already exist currently? If this is the 1st, maybe Intel already wanna produce OCing board, but better off start from DDR3

Yea it lacks on the maximum FSB [Intel 975X chipset maximum FSB is only 400MHz], but, the performance of Badaxe2 is no match with other motherboard that uses Intel 975X chipset can beat it.

Dam nice mobo but... AFAIK DDR3 still pricy ATM, KVR 512MB DDR3 1066 @ USD102.. & 1GB DDR3 Dual Kit is USD414... Wonder when DDR3 gonna be mainstream???

Just the same time DDR2 takes it's time to be mainstream, 1 & half year or 2 years.

So this must be one of enthusiast choice when it comes out. Hope by then DDR3 will be affordable.
