Hi im currently looking for a new monitor mainly use it for gaming on PS4 but sometimes i do gaming on PC but all the time for movie and browsing. currently im eyeing on LG 24GL600F. Need opinion from master in here on this model on how monitor produce color in the game. im just average gamer who play a lot of open world game so im looking on a monitor with a great viewing in the game. should i go for IPS panel monitor if so im also currently eyeing on LG 27GL650F coz my budget is 1k and can topup just a little bit. if the color on LG 24GL600F is acceptable i might save some money here. please help to make a decision for a new monitor.

thanks

Hardware Unboxed did a review on it:

Too bad it's a TN panel so I'd avoid it if you are consuming content so I'd recommend an IPS panel instead icon_idea.gif

Do you need 144Hz? hmm.gif

Either a TV (HDR on PC monitors are a hit or miss, unfortunately), or a VA panel monitor - VA panels have good contrast and lots of image depth along with deep blacks which makes it great for content consumption icon_idea.gif

Look for something like the Acer ED242QR - this uses a Samsung SVA panel (SVA panel is a Samsung variant of VA panel) icon_idea.gif

Also any preference on size? hmm.gif

Your budget will only allow for a 1080p 27 inch panel which makes it not ideal for monitor use sweat.gif
