 Problem to overclock

why my PC cant clock over 2.8G
if clock over 2.8G, my pc will not response, mean even POST





















Intel Conroe E6600 (with Zalman 9700NT cooler)
Asus P5B
Kinston DDRII 667 1G X 2
XFX 7900GT 256MB (with Zalman VF700AL cooler)
Enemax Liberty 400W

how you overclock it? From Bios mode or windows mode means from 3rd party software. Overclocking needs better RAM as well as PSU lo. However, have you tried to dropped the multiplier?

no ohh, i directly overclock from bios, izzit the ram problem, can i change the timing for the ram, u see my PC spec enough?

It's not as easy as direct overclocking the CPU. Your rams might not be able to handle the OC.

Search around on how to OC a C2D. There's a lot of guides.... nod.gif
