already got the scoot on the 18th June... already clocked 1600km on it...coz rode back to
semenyih from JB twice...

I changed front and back suspension to ohlins... and tires to pirelli rosso sport... worth it..

First time for me to ride scooter of any type... my history with bikes was

1. kawasaki kips 150
2. yamaha virago 535
3. naza blade 650....

that was years back... sold my blade 4 years ago....

so xmax is super comfortable... if you looking for speed this is not for you... max speed ~140kmh
but the ride is very enjoyable for me... on the highway I was riding 120-140kmh....

The low center of gravity make the scoot feel so light... due to wide seat I can't properly put my
feet on the ground (170cm)... but still I can let go the handle... becoz I don't feel like the scoot
will fall... opposite feeling with naza blade...

due to upgraded suspension, the handling is superb, surprisingly low speed through traffic jam handling
is super smooth...

the space under the seat is huge... I added 43L givi top box... and this adds super practicality to using
this bike... now I can put everything in the scoot... if I were to go to the toilet or meal at RnR..
I can leave everthing... jacket, helmet... inside the bike...  so don't have to bring anything on me...

going to office also enjoyable... laptop bag in the seat luggage...

so far I enjoy the scoot.. it surpasses my expectation.  This is very "practical" two wheeler.
I can ride be it for a short ride to grocery store or interstate get away...

The new tech like keyless entry and 12V cigarette lighter can keep your phone battery charged..

The last thing is... the look of the xmax...  it is a huge scooter... look expensive and look so beautiful
The front.. the head and the eyes... LED drl .... rear view greeted by LED drl ala panigale...

I'm in love with this scooter...

Sounds addictive. Where would you recommend getting the Ohlins from?

I bought the rear one from shopee... I assembled it myself.
The front one is more of a spring kit... need to drain the oil and stuff... bought and assembled by bike shop...

Since xmax is quite popular nowadays.. and also due to covid19... ohlins stock for xmax a bit difficult to find.

but it is worth the money... can go with yss also... as long as you don't use the stock tire and suspension.

I found the brake also quite hard to pull... it bite very good... but not soft 2 finger pull I used to find with hydraulic
pump brake system... thinking of upgrading to RCB brake pump... no need kayangan kluster brembo.... blush.gif  blush.gif

I see. Thanks for info.
Front brake is single caliper, maybe different than your previous bikes list above, especially the Blade with dual caliper 4 pot.
I would try a 4 pot or 6 pot upgrade, to improve the feel.
