It's Singapore based, so you will have to pay taxes to get it shipped to Malaysia. I don't think they have any XSX in stock now, but maybe they are taking pre-orders for next batch

I'm trying to create a new Xbox account and do the 3 years GPU thing. Currently the 12 month Brazil Xbox Live codes are quite cheap, i plan to stock up on that. The plan is:

1. Buy 3 years of BR Xbox Live
2. Buy BRL gift card
3. Use BR VPN to create a new account
4. Claim 3 years Xbox Live
5. Activate $1 GPU 3 month trial (using this link as guide)

Once this is done, can i freely switch the account region and have everything with me? Or will there be any issues?

Yes i do. BR GPU ask for $5, i have $10 in the account + 3 years of BR Xbox Live. I'm stuck at the part where it asks for the alternative way to pay, since this is a subscription.

You are using US account right? I think i want to change region + top up USD $20. Will i carry over my Xbox Live sub if i were to change my account region? I dont mind losing the BR funds inside.

Yea I just finished chatting with their agent, they converted my subs to GPU until Feb 2024 without batting an eyelid hahaha. Thanks so much for your help guys! My first Xbox ever, can't wait to play Halo and Forza!



My first impressions: the Xbox is so much smaller than my chonky PS5, it's mind boggling. Xbox controller sucks tho, the face buttons feel so cheap compared to DS4/DualSense.

Halo MCC, Gears 4, Forza Horizon. Will come back to Destiny 2 once I sort out my account issues.

Demons Souls in PS5 is very satisfying to play too. More so than Cyberpunk 2977 🤦‍♂️

My Xbox acc is GG already. Cant buy anything from Argentina store, even after using another CC. So funny that I made quite a few purchases all they way to late January then it doesn't work anymore.

I helped a friend in the same situation as yours, had to contact Xbox support to get it done. Some backstory: my friend's acc was mistakenly created in Turkey region, then topup 3 years of XLG bought from Turkey region as well. I wanted to change his Xbox region to Brazil (that's what I use for my personal acc) but mistakenly chose Australia instead Since my friend has no CC info in Australia, I bought him the cheapest AU gift card possible to use the $1 method. I still faced an error so I had to turn to Xbox support to get everything converted.

Talking to various Xbox customer rep, some will die die want me to specify backup payment info, some are so straight forward they immediately convert your acc manually on their end. Finally a rep from UAE helped me by using the $1 method but faced an unknown issue that they didnt specify. They ended up using the 2nd method below to convert my friend's account to GPU and surprisingly the cost is borne by them. I checked because the account balance only reduced by $1, and there is not enough balance to purchase the 1 month GPU sub to begin with.

From my experience doing this, there are 2 ways of converting Xbox Live Gold to GPU sub:

1) Use the $1 promo. This one is a bit leceh as you not only need to topup your acc with some credit, you also need a backup payment information that is accepted in the region your account was registered in. You will probably have to talk to Xbox customer service to get it converted, and depends on how lucky you are to get everything done.

2) Buy 1 month of GPU sub gift card. This will automatically convert your 3 years worth of XLG into GPU sub.

My suggestion for anyone who wants to do the 3 years of XLG to GPU sub trick is to load up on XLG, then just buy 1 month GPU sub card and redeem it which will convert those 3 years into GPU. Correct me if I'm wrong but this method ensure that you do not have to specify backup payment info for the recurring billing BS.

One last thing, if you're dealing with Xbox customer rep its best to use VPN and jump around regions to talk to different people. For example, I only had to talk to Brazil support once for my own personal acc. But when helping my friend, had to talk to multiple people to get anything done. A person from UAE got it done without any issue. All depends on your luck.
