the viewty is a really solid phone and the OS is also unique to LG black series. its simple to use, great camera, loud, great divx movie and as a music player...... only thing missing is wifi but seriously u wont miss it la..... i used to have wifi on my palm but hardly use it

i dont need wifi on fon..if i want to surf tenet,juz use the lappy..no need to use da fon rite?it's not da weakness..but i really wanna ask..is it a very valuable thing to have?i really want it~!!!!!!!!

Well if you're into the camera of the phone, don't expect it to match those from N82. Apart from that, I can't seem to find ways to delete mistakenly entered words in the T9 dictionary. So add words with caution.

Other than that, the battery lifespan is short. Have to recharge every 2 days. (Moderate usage)

anyone got a good site that i can download applications, themes etc to viewty? i got my phone last 2 weeks and its still like stock haha

For me all have their own goods...
N95 (6.5H) , N82 (4H+), & Viewty (4H) Battery Life Sucks... all of them have good camera except Nokia is a all rounder coz S60
K850i decent camera... their Battery Life Good (9H)... good interface... Normal User phone... which do not wan complicated software
G600 decent camera... but Battery Life Sucks (3.5H)... slow interface... hmm...

Thaat is what i read from the review... and also datasheet...

for me the only phone that i can buy is K850i... all others phone will not last from fully charge to nill for 2 days...

First day i bought, 1 day battery finish day. keep playing

well i call a lot.... 2 hours ++++... sometimes can reach 4 hours...
so i'm still thinking buy or not... i like the video function...
actually my eye is on C902 now... but i hope that someone can help me to fix my Sharp 903...

Yes...2nd batch is called KU990R come with camera lens

the on screen keyboard is superb. Big button and sensitive. I have change from KU990 -> KU990R -> N82. viewty never give me any problem.

Have you seen N82 photos? They have sharper and greater color rendering for their photos.
Well Viewty has good lens, except they have bad software to process the photo. For a 5 megapixel picture to be compressed to file around 800kb, I'll say the compression rate is too high and this leads to degradation of photo quality. Plus, the image stabiliser for this phone is crap!

Well anyway, it's worth the money spend on it. No complain on the music though, although it has no match for an ipod. Overall, if you are looking or considering this phone, I'll say go for it.

Hello all, I'm currently considering of buying this phone. But does anyone know how is the quality of picture for this phone? Especially when zoomed in. Coz so far most of the phone I've look into produce a bad picture quality which is blurry and crooked when zoomed in.

You can zoom up to a certain extent on x4.
I myself think that pictures zoomed with x8 and x16 are quite blurry and bad though.
