Viewty take crappy pictures, to be honest and that is when it's in stock mode with default settings. The default quality was 80 (normal) and there was option for highest 95 (Maximum) in Zoran. You can see quite a big margin in quality after the setting.

Not quite sure about others but this is what I've experienced. Don't tweak if you're not risk taker

Well, believe it or not guys, im still facing the DAMN auto shutdown problem even after LG replaced the PCB mainboard. i dun think its a user problem as i dun install any 3rd party apps and this phone is now mainly used to accept calls.

i have just sent an email to LG msia, asking them for a refund. anyone else want to join in?

i havent tried the iphone but the touchscreen on the viewty is really solid. no problems watsoever.

I think the iPhone is better... I dono, i feel that the Viewty must tekan a tinsy bit extra in order for it to detect... i dont have one, but I tried it out in the LG Shop (not demo unit, the salesgirl let me use her unit)... was not very impressed la... decided to skip with the purchase... Going foe either LG Secret or Nokia E71 now...

LG Secret is a slide phone, is not a full touchscreen. Touchscreen function only applicable for mostly multimedia feature. I am gonna buy this Viewty phone this week in the KLCC LG shop soon. I like this phone because it is fully touch screen and feature is good. and it is solid and professional look.

Apparently the LG Secret's camera is better... I'm not too concerned about touchscreen (having used a touchscreen phone for 3-4 years now)...

well been using touch screen now.
i am finding it to be a little annoying now..

very slow to sms and etc.
but iguess i seriously love the camera. my adjust the right setting to get the right quality. but i am satisfy:D

im suprised that you said the UI and sms is slow..... i have no problems using the viewty and its really quite nice & fast.

maybe your memory card is full ? i wonder if that affects the UI speed?

i check it out last time, and it did feel slow... i dono bout u guys, but i feel the touch sensor needs to be a tad bit more sensitive... check out the iPhone (or iPod Touch), the touch screen is so nice... this one must put a little bit of effort before it detects the touch...

hi guys, i'm interested in getting this phone but wanna know something first. i read in a review somewhere on the web and it says that viewty cannot open a pdf file that's more than 1.2MB. is it true??
