Sorry if to ask the question twice, but anyone here have problems to use the PC Suite via bluetooth? The USB option works ok, and if you really want to move large files, use the USB Mass Storage option instead of the PC Suite.

guys i just bought this hp. i got a problem with downloading from the pc, which it cant detect my usb when connect to the pc, anyone have this problem

you need to set your USB connection to hdd mode in the phone before you connect to pc.

gotta admit our viewty capture best on cloud and sky.. many of my picture, the sky look so good will post it up

as long as you have 3g and net connection setup on your phone, you should be able to load youtube

im using Digi EDGE.
im not sure if i should install other players to stream, the default one deosnt seem to play

try check with digi... i never use digi bfore for EDGE...

cant deny it is really a worth to buy hp..
nice design , big screen, cheap price...
but the viewty i used bef, battery not so lasting..

1. Firstly, thank you Mr. T for a very helpful and patient service. Got my phone back from Zitron (so that's about 5 working days) and they flashed my phone with the 10d firmware (was 10b before). Actually there's not much difference. There are websites that states that these firmware differences are not actually upgrades, they're just speciallized for different regions.

2. Back to my old problem, the bluetooth connection. In short, it turns out the problem is my laptop. The final conclusive test was I attached my generic bluetooth dongle that I've used for 2 years with my Nokia 6630 phone, to a random laptop (NO ADDITIONAL DRIVERS NEEDED, BUILT IN WIN XP DRIVERS WAS ALL IT NEEDED), installed the LG PC Suite Software on the random laptop and it can connect with the phone with no problem. So, those with ACER 1682 WLMi laptops, beware.

.. or could it be that Nokia has planted a program in my PC to hv problems with other phone manufacturers... hmmmm....

3. Youtube using Digi. It's not possible, it'll go to "Buffering 01%" then it disconnects. What is possible is to use an intermediate site called vtap (m.vtap.com) using the phone built in web browser, then download the videos you want onto the Viewty. Then watch it.

4. Battery life is short if you use the browser often. If just use the phone it can last 2 days easy.

5. Lastly, I'm typing this reply using the Viewty as a USB Modem on Diginet...

LG phone price depreciate very fast.

back in early this year, when the phone was first out, priced above 2K (free the canon photo printer thingy).

recently i check the garage, people are selling a 3 to 4 months old Ori Viewty at RM 1050 - RM 1100 only.
