Here was a thread in Jokes Heaven. And I encountered this in the 3 main browsers that I tested, IE7, Opera 9.2, and FF2.

Yeah it's due to several factors:
1) Chinese text is encoded as HTML entities (遇到『...). 2) The topic title field is 70 chars wide. 3) IPB doesn't check whether the title after encoding exceeds 70 chars, so in the case of the topic above, the HTML entity gets truncated and becomes badly-formed HTML. |
