 Chinese script = site coding error?

Here was a thread in Jokes Heaven. And I encountered this in the 3 main browsers that I tested, IE7, Opera 9.2, and FF2.

Note that the main page starts from the last page, and not 1 as it's intended, and the boxes are not encircling the numbers

Yeah it's due to several factors:

1) Chinese text is encoded as HTML entities (遇到『...).
2) The topic title field is 70 chars wide.
3) IPB doesn't check whether the title after encoding exceeds 70 chars, so in the case of the topic above, the HTML entity gets truncated and becomes badly-formed HTML.

yesterday i also saw the samething like what linkinstreet posted
but juz now go to check at there, everything back to normal...
