May be what people said rite also.. small lures for small fish and biggies prefer bigger lures.. therefore you caught juvenile lor...
i translate it to what happen to me as well..
Last week, i met this lady (who i know from old time).. she quite big in size and she upset becoz i'm loosing weight.. she said i'll handsome with 10 more kgs..
So, are you bringing pixy to AG? I wanna try SP there as well..
Added on August 20, 2007, 1:34 pmI've go back and have a nice look on that kerapu.. damn big ler.. congrats bro ice.. i've never catch that big before.. biggest i landed at Tioman.. close to 2 kgs.. fishing between rocks there... so syiok.. use ikan colour colour as bait..
well.. fighting a fish have never been so shiok man...
for patin it will give you a long line stripping line feel...
for jenahak.. long pull but usually gives up after some time..
for snapper fish.. usually almost the same like jenahak/golden snapper
but for grouper.. after eating your bait.. will sit down quitely until your agrevate the fella.. my case is that the rod took a very deep bend and released.. then i was like.. aiyah.. pull somemore la.. then i strike.. so after about 2 minutes looking at my rod... it didn't move at all .. then i went over to my rod.. took it out from my rod holder and check the bait.. mana tau.. sangkut... sangkut apa tak tau la.. but then it was stripping my line non stop..
After that i had to pull it over to the side of the pond away from the snaggy area's .. it keep pulling and pulling only.. strong tough and line stripping process.. reel screaming and line stripping.. then i had to use hand brakes on my spool to prvent it from further stripping my line.. then it took a left and took a right... like it was as if in the sepang circuit taking corners.. then after about 8 minutes.. it came to the shore.. then my friend helped me to scoop up the fish.. mana tau.. cabut again.. same process but then the fish is landed after a while..
All together tired... sweat... and stunned to have a look at the fish.. my first ever biggest grouper caught in paypond.. the fight was marvelous hehehe..
