Hi.

I just bought Redmi Note 8 on Shopee claimed to be Xiaomi Malaysian Warranty.

When I check the EMEI, it said: Congratulations! You can be assured the phone you have purchased is the official international version.

Is it Malaysian? How to check?

PM seller and waiting for seller to response.

Thanks

Download this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...rim.ecommpublic

It is an official app from SIRIM. It will usually say congratulations etc etc etc when your phone is authentic Malaysia set or AP set which is properly registered by supplier / shop (not smuggled set etc).

Now with that app, once it shows the congratulations etc, tap on details button and see who is the distributor. If official distributor, then your phone's warranty is from Malaysia Xiaomi

Malaysia xiaomi warranty is under international version as there is no malaysia version phone. When you buy from seller, if it says warranty under manufacturer, then its 'malaysia /international version'. Else, they would say as seller warranty.
