I bought my AirPods Pro in Singapore and I want to add on AppleCare+ however I’m unsure if AppleCare is accepted by authorised service providers in Malaysia. In the event I want to service them. Anyone knows whether they accept?

From my understanding, YES they do accept it no matter where u got the AppleCare+...

Apple devices with the exception of cell phones as i knew it are international warranty. You can buy wherever that gives you the best conversion rate and get services in where ever locations you are at.

Yes and in Singapore some products have AppleCare+ which isn't offered in Malaysia

@blue16 can provide source? cos when I called AppleCare 1800 number, they said AppleCare+ is not offered in Malaysia.
They also said if I have non-Malaysia products, I need to claim in those locations where AppleCare+ was purchased or at least where its available.

What do u mean not offered in Malaysia? Here in our country also got AppleCare... but only for some type of devices like Macbook, iPad, iPod... while iPhone and Apple Watch are excluded... Different with other countries like SG who offered the AppleCare for most of the products.

But, if U bought these devices from other countries like SG and get the AppleCare for those devices, they do support here in Malaysia (as long as the devices are already launch here)...

Basically, the AppleCare is like extending your warranty coverage, and of course with some other benefits... so let say u wanna claim warranty here, the service centre will check from their system to get the info about the device... if still within the warranty period, then no problem for you the get the service like free repair or replacement...

AppleCare is not the same as AppleCare+.... and AppleCare+ is not offered in Malaysia

For the product part, some Apple product that are not sale in Malaysia, for an example, Apple Watch Hermes model, warranty is not honored in Apple Malaysia.

In the past, Apple sold the Apple Care plan in a box. So, I wonder the NIB Apple Care will still work for Apple product?

Just to be clear, there's 2 products / services
1. AppleCare
2. AppleCare+

the 2nd one is currently not available in Malaysia.

Yes, accepted

Just got my 16” screen replaced at Machines AASP under accidental damage.
But I asked about my phone, they said that Care+ on my phone has to be claimed at Apple Stores instead

Did you had to pay any fee for them to replace for accidental damage?

There is no fee involved if you got AppleCare+; there is a reason why you got to pay more for it…..

Have u called apple reseller and enquire or are you introvert everyrhing also must use keyboard ?

AppleCare+ only in SG.
AppleCare can claim in MY.
