I'm interested with this combo, but still tied contract until October.
Any reviews from existing users?

I just registered unifi last week and saw this promotion. RM10.60 (inclusive SST) i guess is the most worth among prepaid and postpaid plan.

Have been using it for 2 months, so far so good. My area here is using TM backbone, so nothing much I'm expecting.
I Ported out my hotlink to Digi prepaid, after 1 week I applied this plan. Everything is fine and ok.

I see I see. That’s good. No need what cool down period.

Now just need to wait till my unifi contract ends to apply for this.

Did you did rm10 for unlimited calls on the fixed line number?

Any reviews of this plan? like latency, speed, consistent, random disconnects?
Calls and SMS is totally unlimited? Only RM 99 + 6% SST right?

No need 6 months, just port out to any prepaid then switch back anytime as SKMM told telcos no longer cooling off period for MNP numbers.

Only RM99 + 6% SST. 2 years contract.

Yeah. Mobile wise should not have any issue since maxis has the best coverage and speed always especially for urban areas.

Yup the speed for fibre is up to 30Mbps. How is ur experience with Maxis 30Mbps so far? Stability and latency will be more of a concern. Unifi is good so far, just not sure if maxis fibre is the same.

The good thing about this plan is that both fibre + mobile = RM99 is really a great saving.

Technical support is a bit complicated. If it is related to TM stuff, u need to wait for both parties which will need more time and effort to get things done. But for installation, it is very fast can gaodim.

Unifi just installed fibre at my area. so have to subscribe to unfi.
currently paying rm89 for unifi 30mbps + rm50 for hotlink flex. so monthly commitment for internet is rm140++.
i am thinking is it worth to terminate my unifi to change to this plan?
What is the penalty for unifi termination?

there is no point in terminating unifi as you need to exactly the remaining months x monthly subscription. so terminate or not, totally make no difference.

I would like to catch up on this topic with those who used the service.

Anyone from Sungai Buloh / Kwasa Damansara / Kota Damansara area used the Maxis Fibre? If yes, how good is it?

I'm also wondering if I sign up for the RM99 (fibre + mobile) package, would I get the unlimited 4g data just like what Maxis Home Fibre is offering right now?

Not yet as my re-contract end Mid-Sep.
Anyway just saw that Hotlink 3Mbps unlimited for RM35, seem better deals with unlimited calls too.

Maybe straight away cut Fiber and using 4G in few devices is better.

🤭 Example 1 Hotlink, 1 GX30 and 1 Konfem, also RM90ish...

It's viral in social media these 2 days, not sure either prepaid or postpaid plans as you also noticed that Hotlink Flex Plus Fiber is contract based.

And there is catch too, no hotspot quota included.

For me, I'll watch and see CLEARLY their terms after 4th June.

Hotlink video promo leaked by one of agents:
https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid...7&id=1784837528

---

Got catches or all-days?

Nah, I'm NOT Maxis fan, expecially Postpaid....

I was one of early Maxis postpaid unlimited users back in 2013, but they quietly implemented quota and FUP policy without prior notice and ignore postpaid users.

Then jumpship to other Telcos which offered better deals, after Maxis became MaxShit.

FYI, their Hotlink brand no longer prepaid as they mixed with Fiber plan with 24 months contracts. Therefore, there is NO details regarding this Hotlink Unlimited yet.

Just wait and see their terms first. Some Telcos don't Allow you to MNP out later, and you might get trapped 😂

Dont have unlimited hotspot. If just use it in phone then it is good plan.

Good enough for anyone actually. The price is cheap enough for single device usage.

My bad thoughts it included astro.

Still good plan but you can try to ask to tio up a bit more for astro pksn

Think they have the triple combo plan if you are keen

not into astro anymore. i have been using rm1xx package for the past 4 to 5 years. recently I had just cut the package and switch to njoi instead. dun find the astro package worthwhile to watch nowadays as there are other options available.

Wanted to switch to this package from hotlink postpaid, was denied as it only opens for new user. Can anybody share which telco has the shortest lock-in period? So I could port out and then port in again as new user.

I am recently checking on this plan too smile.gif

Currently already on Maxis fibre.
My experience, to use p2p, may request public IP from Maxis, then it shall be fast.

Meanwhile, @gonzapod, may switch to any prepaid of other operator with no contract. Eg. Yoodo (flexible to pay by usage)

i would think that this plan is totally worthwhile for anyone who wants to pay the minimum for both mobile + home broadband monthly for the best value. tongue.gif

on the go if one does not usually stream videos, 10GB is more than enough. not to mention there is another 10GB just for video streaming itself.

So looking at the screen shot of your bill, it looks like it is a consolidated bill. So you can retrieve the bill from the maxis app or Hotlink postpaid app?

Was a maxis one prime customer, had to port out my mobile and then cancel my fibre. Maxis fibre guys came to collect back the router and gateway, so used bebas while waiting for reinstallion. Might take up to a month because TM system update slow and still thought I had the gateway.

Maxis and TM guys came to install and was baffled that there was no gateway as thier system says I still hold the gateway, need to rearrange installation and been 2 weeks since.

But my rm10.60 postpaid was activated 2 weeks back. Happy with the speed.

I registered interest and got a call from maxis telesales (I guess).

Was told by the end of the contract, even if we serve full the 24months contract, we could not get back the mobile number when we terminate it as this package is bundled with fiber altogether. One day when we decide to stop subscribing, the mobile number will be gone altogether with the fiber. That why the maxis guy keep telling me better to get new number instead, but in this case it already defeated the whole purpose.

Are you aware of this or if you have any way to overcome it?

I ported in from another telco, and they did not mentioned in the tnc that the number shall be terminated together with fibre. The number does not belong to maxis, if u are not satisfied with the answer u can lodge a report with mcmc.

I told them the same way as in they lure ppl in but never provide customer a way out, seems like a big trap.

I agree that the mobile number belongs to us. I’m not sure how to get through this. Anybody lodge any complaint to MCMC before?

I doubt so, probably there is no such issue just that the sales person have his own agenda to get more commission by asking you to register a new number instead.

I'm still in my first year so no plans to terminate yet until they change thier package or TNC. I remembered the agent at one of the maxis center told me if you need to cancel this postpaid package after the period end, you can just subscribe one of the other normal postpaid package before you port out, that means u still have to pay for a pro rated postpaid min rm98 before you are allowed to port out.

if you call 123 or visit maxis store, the operator/customer service will answer you the most general and standard reply possible.

if you able to reach sales dept, then the answer given is as what I posted.

seems like there are many different type of answers given.

Of course Maxis and any other telcos already knew about it and use it to their own advantage. Otherwise why would they give you discount and bundled everything tightly.

Anyone that have actually moved out from this plan?

I'm currently on it

Interested in moving to U Mobile U38 + TIME 100Mbps because I need more SIM Data

EDIT:

I contacted Maxis CS

They will move the phone plan to Postpaid 98 and terminate the fibre

Then you need to quickly port out

EDIT2:
They actually moved me to Hotlink Postpaid 60
Now ported over to U Mobile
Waiting for fiber to be terminated
