ice vehicles use cobalt too. in order to take away sulfur from the oil cracking process, they use, surprise surprise, cobalt

dont blame cobalt for the blame of being anti-EV. cobalt is innocent, its just a metal and an element in earth. its up to companies to use cobalt responsibly.

And most EV manufacturers now are reducing cobalt content in their batteries , and finding new sources.

Dude in oil cracking, cobalt is used as catalyst, not one of its reagent

Lmao

because raw oil as limited source was a pure hoax. it was all lies.

we are not going to ran out of that.

unless ev car battery offer 1000-2000km range per charge n 10 minutes recharge then oil industry is obsolete totally

let say if ev will totally replace the petrol car.

and all the vehicle also eventually change to electrical and oil is phased out.

so what will happen to the oil? keep underground forever? after a super long time what will the oil change into?

2 - 3% of total car sales are made up of EV.

Toyota alone sold around 10mil cars a year for 2018, the whole EV industry shipped 5mil.

Btw full EV car is easier to make then traditional fuel powertrain. There are currently close to 500 full EV models with completed prototype. But due to low margin, intensely fierce competition and shortages in batteries supply, most company do not want to go that route for now, unless there is subsidies from Gov such as in China.

Even Dyson can make EV,so do you think its so hard for Toyota to make one ? Its whether is commercially viable to market it.

Firstly, solve the issue of charging station. Poor country like Malaysia we stay in condo and park road side, the car isn't going to charge itself.

dyson ev is dead.

and go look at every single large japanese/US/EU manufacturer history of EV

= golf cart on wheels

Only nissan, tesla, maybe daimler and volkswaggen as well as a handful of chinese companies have a chance.

Every Ev company with a compelling product will sell every car they produce

every ice company will live on thin strings, until a point their next product fails, then its gg.

their asset, machines, and factories: worth garbage because no ev companies want ice factories

their receivables and loans : worth garbage because colloteralised by ice cars

when all your assets are garbage + heavily indebted, effectively every ice company now is running on near zero asset, infinite gearing.

They got the tech. Just wait for battery development. Once they achieve that, petrol will die sooner or later.

EV is relatively easier to make and maintain than ICE cars. The hard part is software actually and this is where Tesla is so far ahead of others.

Dyson have cancelled their plans to make EV.

Thing with EV is battery cost. It's coming down but not that much yet. Obviously still got long way to go before a simple short range EV becomes cheap

Toyota said that demand is slow is not unfounded.

Are you a Tesla stock holder ? I've seen many of those holding TSLA confusing the company with the industry.

Liked you said, Dyson EV is dead. Why is it dead ? Cause they don't have the tech ? No it's cause the industry no need to 2 Tesla, its too small of a segment for two Tesla to compete and be profitable.

Current market share for EV is too small. You are either upper segment of slick electric vehicle, or large commercial vehicles like buses if you want to be profitable in Electric.

In the middle, it its still dominated by the likes of Toyota, Volkswagen, GM etc. If you are a Tesla stock holder, you should be happy the mid segment would not want to compete with you.

Just image If BMW go full EV, the worse off would be TESLA. Cause BWM is taking a big addressable market and shrink it down to compete head to head with Tesla on a niche market, causing a blood bath between those two to secure sales from a small addressable market.
