There was a time the cashback was signfiicant and with a lot of events, i could rack up a good rm300 in half a year. Gone are those days. Now i just have milkadeal, same shiet, but to reduce acc and the rate is like 0.1%-1%... no worth la.. but free money from 1k order still free money. can go yumcha 1 more time after fulfilment hahaha

i use shopback for kinokuniya and bookdepository..rate its ok...

Travel and hotels related are pretty okay with the rates ... can earn cashbacks

Well unfortunately, my data is worthless being a poorfag haha. I'm pretty sure all your info has been leaked one way or the other, the only thing is whether it is of any use. Spam messages and calls are a common thing. Just ignore them and sohais will eventually give up.

Isnt that ur passwords for other online merchants like shopee lazada will be leaked together too? And usually ppl having saved card within these two platform for online purchases and hence credit cards details might be jeopardised indirectly?

And how would it know your other platform passwords? My passwords are 'procedurally' made differently for every account so it doesn't matter if even half are compromised in addition to the same approach for accountIDs - one of my accounts got leaked from somewhere once, it got region blocked by the platform due to my security settings and i just change pwd with a new 'seed' nothing happened since. The link does not cause u to leak ur password unless you have not logged in prior to using the app and in case your device has been leaking info in the first place, you would have been leaking all day anyway.

Shopee does 2 FA for all devices when it comes to payments, and my saved cards (only select few with lower limits) also have been set to alert me whenever any transaction is made, and in addition clients get the benefit of the doubt as long as you hv done your part in reporting and preventing fraudulent use. Card agreements favor the client rather than merchant in general.

But bottom line now is the cashback is so low its not even worth the time spent to click the link and wait for all the stuff to properly load. Shopee itself e.g. gives far superior promos upfront.

hi guys, just wanted to ask the cashback that is available to withdraw doesn't ever like expire or something right? I mean is there like a validity for how long it'll be accessible to be withdrawn? also, what is the minimum amount needed for the amount to be withdrawn? RM10?

Shopback is not so useful with Agoda because Agoda will mark up the price if you use Shopback. I compared the base price before and after using Shopback and most of the prices increased. Also the coupons and promotions from Agoda are not useable so it is better to bypass Shopback when booking in Agoda.

Was okay though last time. I compared shopback-agoda with pure Agoda. Mark up very little..but I haven't use shopback for a long time.

Mine didn't expire after like 1 yr. I usually withdraw once I see rm20 or so.

Yes rm10 is minimum.

For myself, i used 2 different phone to check the price. One through shopback and one thru normal app, the price is exactly the same. No mark up at all.

Shopback cashback is good for hotels and other shopping. But for shopee and lazada its just a waste of time.





Pretty good cashback from agoda

I booked a hotel this morning. My observation is it depends on the hotel price. If the price is less than rm 300, there is a mark up (ex. rm 173 with Agoda only, rm 180 with Shopback). One hotel has rm 301 per night and the price is still the same with Shopback.

Edit: After I compute, you still pay less with Shopback but it is not always 6%. If less than rm 300, the effective cashback rate can be 2.5% because of the mark up.
