Reporting in: My elinking reload yesterday at 7.50pm finally updated in TNB app almost 24 hours later. Next time will do small amounts.

Mine too.... Yesterday's date.... It's probably RHB's processing time and not entirely their fault

thanks for reporting, just checked mine on 13th also finally posted in TNB as RHB BATCH, still pending 2 more that paid yesterday yet reflected

seems like paying TNB bill through elinking is the latest best know method .


i pay tnb through boost using happy mart , can earn booost coins too .

e-linking has their own cash back vouchers. additional cashback.

but some started having issues where payment posting is slow, yet updated.

if straight use boost to make payment, elinking charge RM1 per transaction.
assuming reload from cc which has 5% cashback, and the payment amount using elinking is RM100

100 * 0.05 = RM5 from reloading into boost

if take mission in boost for making payment, (scan n pay?), reward is RM3 (example)

the cash back for making payment of RM100 is RM8 - RM1 = RM7



however, if the reloading cash into boost doesnt entitled any cash back, only got mission cash back, the cash back need to minus RM1 in elinking
which doesnt sound a good cash back in this scenario...
unless topup elinking app credit is also consider as "scan n pay" in boost, then can avoid the RM1 charge...

Not sure which category for boost topup appcredit. I tried the mission spend 500 get rm6 by top up into appcredit. Do get the mission cashback.

Top up appcredit, rm 20 get one lucky draw, usually RM0.8 discount.
Pay one bill above 30 get another draw. Log in daily one draw.
Average RM 0.8X3 VOCHER per day.
what I do is pay tnb daily by amount of rm 30.
So a 300 bills take 10days. With min 0.8 vocher=RM8
If you lucky in-between, will get some app credit.

8/300 = 2.6%
Boost spend 300= 600 coin for level 4(equal RM6)

Sikit sikit jadi bukit.

May I ask if I had paid for TNB bill yesterday around 1pm then can I pay again today after 12am or do I need to wait till 1pm (after 24 hours) ?

Cos I had tried pay today after 12am but the transaction was immediately showed 'Recharge failed"

the top up to app credit daily voucher is only once a day is it? Or every top up will get?

Also for TNB payment will I get voucher if pay more than 1 account in 1 day? Or only 1 voucher per day?

well i gotten 400 coins for reloading RM200 ystdy...

best or not depends on each individual, if u opt for cash back, IMO, currently this is the best way that i know of...

cashback from reloading using cc into boost, then take mission in boost (cash back again), any payment made from boost got coins
then payment using elink min RM30, got cash back in appcredit...

so calculate yourself...

Since we didn't receive TNB paper bills last month can I use the previous bills to scan at 7E for bill payment? I'm using TnG e-wallet.

Oh, I don't have the TNB online account as I'm not the owner for my apartment.
