I also facing this issue, error prompt while make payment using credit and debit card at TnB app.

Update;
Try to make payment via credit card again, no error prompt and transaction went thru.
Perhaps TnB already fix the issue at the moment.

The same thing still happens to me; I can't pay using my Amex credit card through their app. Now, the only way to pay is through their kiosk.

Why use M2 Amex? No CB except 1X Treatpoint on weekdays.

You can always pay TNB at TNG wallet App and Boost App. Use Amex to top up Boost (not sure TNG wallet), but no CB and Treatpoint.

Just for convenient sake. Use to pay using Boost, then there is a time where they stop allowing tnb bill payment.

oh, pay tnb with amex no cashback kah? tot want to use ameX next month, as place to use ameX become lesser.

For the MB 2 gold Amex definitely no CB and treatspoint for utilities bill payment. But not sure about the another MB gold Amex cash back, this is the one I'm been using as it does not have cap in CB.

Any extra charges or surcharge?

u can try. but most of them or all only accept cash if they can do it.
What is the reason to pay it there? there are so many place to pay.

yes, if u can find any petrol accept credit card to pay bill.
But, u cannot even get 1 petrol station offer that

depends.

1) epay instructed all their merchants to accept cash for all epay transactions
2) not all merchants follow They may offer card acceptance for epay transactions
3) however, most epay terminals that i see, somehow dont have tnb bill payments. most are simple telco bill payment or mobile prepaid reloads.
4) so far, no surcharge for epay txn. again, merchants may impose their own surcharge arbritarily/own profit.

as time passes by, definitely the difficulty will increase.

difficulty as in:

1) some they used to allow purchase until their limit used up, now they cap purchase with small limit.
2) some they used to allow, now no more.

so if your intention is to pro-long your fruition rewards that comes with your hard work finding those, keep it to yourself.

my real experience is scenario 2 when more people know them.

for months, I am the only customer doing it and no problem. Suddenly months ago things changed when some hunter randomly drop by and get to know them.
