I mean do you guys have no plumbing issue like sumbat sumbat or something? How you guys dispose the waste while in submarine?
*
Yup....it could happen. Which caused by external/foreign object which blocked the seawater inlet. What we do to clear is to blow high pressure thru the piping system to clear it.

hey ltz, this subs are using diesel right? how long does the air intake scope when you guys want to run the engine

i mean, how deep is the subs when you guys want to run the engine at submerge at the same time
*
Depending on the sub size.... some 14 meters, some 16 meters.... its calculated from the keel depth to the waterline

stupid question, how you guys berak and pee ah?

Same concept like aeroplane, will remove once at jetty?

Same goes to food supplies?

And, how long can travel without refuel or back to jetty?
*
Berak/pee....all stored inside sewage lock. If its full, it will be blown out from the sub.

Sub can sustain longer than surface ship, eventhough its a conventional....because of hybrid system. For scorpene, we can sustain 50 days at sea.

is scorpene actually a good sub?

why everyday in news say cannot selam la this la that la
*
If its not a good sub, there will be no new customers for the manufacturer. Till now 4 countries are using scorpene. What makes it good is..... the hydrodynamic shape of the hull which among the most silent sub ever built. It can carry many weapons compared to other conventional subs.

But dont compare with SSN.....its in other class. They have forever powerplant & speed

If in aeroplane can jump use parachute. Is there any parachute for submarine.? In case of emergency .
*
MkXI escape suit... but only for depth less than 180m, but still risky because rapid ascend can explode ur lung.

have you guys seen any real (real) big fishes while in the ocean ?
possible to collect marine/sea life data while on missions ?
*
Ppl mistaken military sub has windows or camera to see outside..... which is not. Window does not give u range advantage at all.... how far can u see under the sea?? We dont speak in meters for detection range, we talk about kilometers, which only soundwave can provide.

Using passive sonar,we could detect the present of biologics around us. Yes, we could collect the data if we are required to do so

Not trolling.
When TLDM brought back the submarine from France to Malaysia, does TLDM need to submit any "flight plans" (like how airlines do) to some governing body or nations? hmm.gif
*
Not required... but to enter port of calls we need to submit the requirement thru agents. When transitting thru international waters & territorial waters no need

Speaking about soundwaves, when you were underwater in the sub, have you heard any whales? Or dolphins? Or some marine life?
Is it possible to hear through the submarine's hull?  hmm.gif
*
Yes...always. we could differentiate the sound from which biologics

If in that case, is there a possibility of collision with another sub in the vicinity?
Or can the subs somehow "hear" each other in the water?
*
Yup....it happened. One of it between french & UK subs

what is the standard operating temperature of the sub in MY waters/seas?
how to determine if its non hostile or both subs just ignore and continue to monitor each other?
*
Surface temperature is higher than deep depth....hence giving negative sound velocity profile... giving much advantage for sub to hide, but also hamper sub safety when coming to periscope depth. Temperature can be 25 - 35 deg on surface, deeper can be 14 deg

When sub meet each other...its always hostile. We could not identify each other. 3 steps: avoid collision, avoid counter detection & track her.
