Hi guys, i would like to ask, what's the difference with looping wall plug and extensions? they both still come out from the same point rite? How high can each point tahan the wattage? Just recently realize, my old house have too many extension cords, every room and area only have 1 plug point.

QUOTE(fireballs @ Nov 24 2019, 09:31 PM) depend on the wire back to db some old house even share he wire with two rooms. typically, looping wall plug is better extension use plug that can heat up at the pins. wall plug not so much if the wires done properly. but in the end, is the cable back to db that matters. I see, i have room that require 2 extension cords, plug on each other to extend the length and usage. I believe it is not safe to do so, hence i was thinking, if do looping will it be the same.

QUOTE(ceo684 @ Nov 26 2019, 07:01 PM) Depends on the extension cord, if its the old school one using 13A sockets it is better than the cheapo 4-gang ones (but actually all four is sharing a common metal rail which can loosen over time and cause bad connections). im using a MR DIY 1.5m 5 gang ones Should i do looping? i also realize, the only socket in the room, they do looping on my 1hp inverter aircond. now i connect two 1.5m 5 gang socket thru the room, consist of all electrical appliances you can imagine in the room.
