Hi watch collectors,

i found a watch in the store house and tried to google "seiko 5 sports automatic 24 jewels 100m 4r36a" but not able to locate the same watch.

Anyone know what exactly the model for this watch?  :confused:

I am wearing my mini turtle more since finding out it has been discontinued.
My mini has a strange fault though. If fully hand wound it would run 45 hours but if I wear it continuously for days and took it off then it would die after only 12 hours.
Sent it in to Seiko during warranty but they didn't solve the fault. Now warranty has expired sigh....

But my standard 777 turtle and sumo can be fully wound by just wearing.
I actually wanted to sell the mini once but worried wheather the buyer will want refund for this problem .

Anyone bought from gnomon watch before? If yes did you get taxed?

This probably has been asked before somewhere else, but I couldn't find something relatable here about restorations, so please pardon me on this.

I recently just got a few watches from my dad, one of it (the Seiko) is passed on from his dad which my dad just kept it in the drawer since the 70's. I have never meet my grandpa because he passed away even before I was born and I wouldn't say it has a lot of sentimental value to me nor my dad.
A quick search tells me the watch worth nothing much, but I just love seeing old watch being revived and being made useful again.
Surprisingly the watch still runs but I have not check the accuracy on it.

Now my question is, what are the range should I be expecting to service or polish/replace the crystal for such watch?

The model written on the back says 7005-8070.

yea, they do have the orange. its just too much for me.
the black and orange is easier to get, else the blue black need to q.
the GS looks nice, the price the LE puts me off (RM18K)

The GMT really need to try hands on, the bezel looks like there is another layer of hardlex on it, it looks surprising nice.
the bezel a smooth non clicking type of feel, not like those diver clicking.

anyone knows where to purchase seiko sports 5 authentic? New to watches, only place i found that sells is city chain, also not sure if city chain trusted anot
