QUOTE(lerijiso @ Jan 5 2020, 10:27 AM) Yes. Let me know how the gwr-b1000 sits on the wrist. I'm eyeing the more budget option...gts-b200 because its supposed to be smaller in dimension than most of the carbon core or gsteel models out there but still provide the same functionality and looks. I've tried both gwr-b1000 and the gst-b200. The GWR-B1000 sits nicer because it curves nicely on the wrist. There is a slight gap with the gst-b200. However, the gst-b200 is not as high/tall as the GWR-B1000. The carbon fibre band is not as nice as the one for the gst-b200. Aesthetic wise, the gst-b200 is more imposing while the GWR-B1000 is more discrete. When rotating my hand, can definitely tell that the gst-b200 is top heavy slightly. Will shake a bit. Also due to the gap. When comparing the to the GA-2100. The GA-2100 is way comfortable.I also cannot stand have to always set the time and date on my seikos. all sitting in the watch box collecting dust. Im mostly wearing my gshocks these days. nice collection. Lots of presages. Mine's mostly divers and only one presage. |

im thinking about getting a real nice watch but not something along the lines of 5k and above and im debating if i should get it from seiko or some other swiss made watch?
i have the seiko snk5 and i love it. its just so simple and elegant that im using it as my daily driver but i do want to get something a little dressier since its the time of the year where people are getting married and im lucky enough to get invited to their weddings so i want to be able to present myself better too. i've read that seiko has made advancement better than the swiss and all their materials are all grown / made in house too. are people leaning towards swiss made watches coz of the name? |

IMO, I'd look into Swiss territory with that kind of budget range; ie maurice lacroix, mido, oris to name a few. if you don't mind older and preowned, omega and tudor are accessible at around 6k and above. |

I went to mall yesterday to try basic lineup seiko presage to get the feels and size of them before pulling the trigger online on the irish coffee.
But guess what, they have the Seiko Irish Coffee SRPE11J1 there! Last stock somemore. Quite nice serial number somemore. And the best part is from the discount offered the price is the same as online! |
