im thinking about getting a real nice watch but not something along the lines of 5k and above and im debating if i should get it from seiko or some other swiss made watch?

i have the seiko snk5 and i love it. its just so simple and elegant that im using it as my daily driver but i do want to get something a little dressier since its the time of the year where people are getting married and im lucky enough to get invited to their weddings so i want to be able to present myself better too.

i've read that seiko has made advancement better than the swiss and all their materials are all grown / made in house too. are people leaning towards swiss made watches coz of the name?

Bought directly from japan? Or does the LE watches ever reaches other stores outside of japan

I can't decide between SPB045J1 and SPB047J1, I like how thin the hour and minute hands are and they are in my fav shade of blue so I like them but I also want something minimalistic and shows the date in an easy to read format.

also i can't justify the price tag for SPB047J1 since it's so minimalistic that I feel ike it's not worth the price lol. are they even good buys? i rarely see anyone talk about these 2 pieces or the presage line anyway

got my eyes on the SPB045J1 but it doesnt seem like it's that popular since i can't find much info or topics about it. is it not a good batch / series / watch or something? im pretty naive when it comes to things that i like and usually kena scam or something so im trying to ask around before i drop 5k on this watch if i even am buying it...
