Thats why I suspect sold units are not automatically released into the pool in real time, hence the difficulty to fish for some.

The more difficult to buy ASx, the better for private sales.

With bullish stockmarkets around the world, hopefully ASM2 n 3 will give better dividend than 4.25%.

That's obvious, no need to mention that.
Transfering for free yes.
But illegitimate to,
1) charge a fee for a no fee fund, as an
2) unauthorised seller.

*
Appreciate if u can show proof on that, TQIA.

i do wasiat because epf and insurance already got nominate.
If I gg, beneficiary can claim the money within a month.  Should be enough to cover living cost ....
others asset like ASNB slow slow wait for LA lo...
*
For non-bumi PA is better cos the ASx units will be transfered to your nominees instead of being liquidated n get cash. Especially nominees who r not investment savvy.

MGM,

May I know where you know or read the info, if non-bumi use the probate or LA only can cash out, unable transfer the ASNB fixed price units to beneficiary?

Thank you.
*
Sorry may be I shouldn't make an unverified statement but it happened to someone I know 10 years ago. TnC could have changed. But for ASx I think it is better to use PA then anything else.

Just sharing what I know.  This is what my ex-col tell me in 2017.
if Probate/LA + beneficiary got ASNB account, then can choose take cash or unit transfer.
if Probate/LA + beneficiary no ASNB account, then take cash.

i personally no do ASNB PA, i go for wasiat.  EPF and insurance nominate, my beneficiary can take out within 1 month and should be enough for living cost.  So, others asset can slow slow wait for Probate/LA.

Yes different ppl different plan, have to plan according to your situation.
*
Care to share what r the costs if done thru probate/LA?

Only EPF sold the share. Really disappointed. Possibility next year EPF will be lower

What about ASx funds, any holding of glove stocks?
Luckily EPF sold some and not all in April. Wonder it bought back any shares after that?

KLCI index on 1996 is around 10xx - 12xx.
Interestingly, gold that does nothing is the winner among all from 1996 till now.
