Must be 'fair' mah

Bumi dapat 5.25% takkan non 5.00% pon tak boleh weh devil.gif

But since the press statement did not reveal the actual income rather than just amount of distribution can't really judge how well did ASB perform and how confident ASM can come near to that
*
But last year, conventional epf gave much higher dividen compared to shariah, also not fair what lol

LOL who force you to take that if you know lower? Not by force mah.. so if you nak pergi syurga then there is the price to pay lo

Anyway even ASB if you want to go syurga also need to pay zakat.. so 5.25% is not nett
*
Who the hell knows that going syariah will get lower.... No one tell this to anyone nor can predict the future. If one know sure think twice lor before change...

Priority should be as follow if for those who dont take any risk
1. EPF
2. ASB 1, 2 or 3
3. ASM 1, 2 or 3
4. FD
5. Rize

if those take risk then invest in stock will easily get you 7% as non of the above can give u anything above 7%
for me i am non risk taker
*
I would add AHB too after asb. consistent dividen so far.

QUOTE(Ankle @ Mar 14 2024, 08:23 AM)
What you can do is allocate a small portion of portfolio for stocks say 10% at first and gradually go up

according to your risk appetite and perhaps not exceeding 25%.

Good luck  nod.gif  nod.gif
*
Exactly, stock needs luck, and lots of research as well. U can invest in etf first if you want lower risk and diverse portfolio, before trying to pick your own stock.

Just sharing. i do invest some money into stocks. returns are not that amazing maybe average out from 2020 to now 6% per annum?
Maybe im bad at picking stocks haha
*
Those bad at picking stocks wouldve registered negative returns hehe. 6% is better than epf and asb, so not too shabby.

haha that was after my stocks recovered. kinda more to blue stocks category.
During its bad timing, im getting -20 to 30% off my portfolio hahahaha
*
As long as u didnt sell, its pretty much just on paper and not realized, so its not a loss.

So when in emergency u need money to roll u have to sell at loss.
*
Yup, if u need money, and market is bad, u will have to sell at loss.
Higher return, higher risk.

I get why people switch to asm1 as historically it gives better dividen. But to switch back and forth just to get earlier dividen doesnt make sense, unless u needed the cash. Has anyone calculated whats the benefit in the long term?

Worth it if sudden death n dependants r not investing savvy cos they will get the units instead of cash. Can always transfer units to them when u have time b4 death to avoid fees.
*
But if your dependants are not investing savvy, theyll just withdraw all the money to spend anyway hehe.

1 cent thief remember? devil.gif

Ya so solution is, leave the cents and let it sit in the account. If really want to withdraw, withdraw later with app, no rounding problem
*
Well you said to leave the cents. So my suggestion is to withdraw that to get back your 2 cents, wouldnt matter whats the balance anymore since you are going to leave the cents anyway.

*
Not so no brainer anymore. Asb dividen 5.75, asm1 might see higher dividen also.

Hi, I recently noticed that ASB 3 Didik had better interest rates than ASM 2

Is it worth selling all my ASM2 and buying Didik? thanks
*
