Does anyone know when ASB2 dividends get credited? I can see ASB dividends credited in the account but no recent transactions for ASB2.

ASB2 dividend will be announced at end of March every year then credited on 1st April every year.

Finally the portal was fixed, tried to buy ASB2 and ASB3 without problem now. ASB2 has no more insufficient issue.

Thanks bro, I key in rm1k, look like everything went through so far.
Did you draw out rm1k during this January 2022?
Asking bcs I don't know why someone reply me in asb fb page saying that they change it to max limit per day is rm500, from where he got his sos??
Worst I saw a youtube video saying the max withdrawal limit is only rm500 a month. So many people saying different things...

Last time is RM500, now increased to RM1000. Why not go to bank to do it at counter? You can get your money instantly by doing redemption through the bank. Withdraw from myASNB tooks about 2 working days. You need to wait until next business day and the money only credit into your account after around 8pm.

someone said that you can write in to PNB to increase the cap from 200K to 300K....
*
The base was still capped at 200k only but dividend is unlimited. If you able to use your base 200k to earn dividend as much as you can, your account probably may reach to 1mil at some day. Probably after 40 years later. If you withdraw money from ASB, the first priority is to deduct your base money first then only follow by deduct the earned dividend.
If your ASB got 500k now, 200k base money and 300k dividend money. You want to withdraw 100K out from ASB. So now your base money will deduct and left another 100k and dividend money remaining 300k. However, it doesn't effect on the yearly dividend calculation because it is compounded yearly base on the sum of base money and dividend money. So now you have free out the 100k quota. Next time, you can fill up 100k into your ASB anytime even though your ASB account balance is showing the amount of 400K.

Banks and agents withdraw is without limit technically right?

Unless the bank/agent impose their own limit due to cash limited/branch protocol?
*
Yes, thats why I suggest withdraw directly at bank. I got withdraw RM6k at bank before. Just need to pass my IC card to the counter, then sit for a while. The bank officer will call my name after they done transfer my money into my bank account.

Does anyone know or heard whether PNB has plans in the near future to allow ASx withdrawal in MyASNB and depositing directly into owner's bank account?  Feels a bit troublesome these days during pandemic having to queue to get into bank to do withdrawal.

I have Maybank, AmBank, CIMB, Hong Leong Bank, RHB Bank, Public Bank and BSN account. Except for Public Bank, just go to any local bank to apply for ASB/ASM redemption. AmBank, CIMB, Hong Leong Bank and RHB Bank has not much people. The process also quite fast. Just to avoid Maybank because need to make appointment.

ASB1 and 2 now have increased another RM100k principle quota higher up to RM300k total. I already switched all my money from ASB3 to ASB2. 5% of dividend really nice, higher than ASB1.

I am more preferred to EPF, I also start to invest AAPL since year 2022. That's why EPF>ASB/ASM.

I have confident that EPF at least has 6% dividend. I not sure where did EPF invest beside from Bursa Malaysia but my guess is Nasdaq is one of the best choices. Especially for the 7 big techs such like NVIDIA is the biggest winner in year 2023 since we are now all talking about AI.

Although I not sure where did EPF invest but imagine if nvidia is part of EPF's investment. I'm sure that EPF must has at least 6% dividend for this year.
