btw, nasi lemak and fried rice is a breakfast with laborers in mind. it suppose to gip enough energy till afternoon for ppl who do hard physical labor.

so for pencil pushers like u and me? 2 piece of toast enough la....

considering the fact that most nasi lemak and fried rice used the same polished white rice, id say the study is quite credible.

hav u ever see nasi lemak or fried rice cooked using red rice or brown rice in restaurants? im sure i havent.

For nasi goreng I mean the composition itself. Its literally a genre of rice plus whatever you can imagine. Quite impossible for any few variants of nasi gorent to represent the entire group.

depends on wat kind of basmati oso. polished basmati is no better than jasmine rice. wholegrain aka brown basmati on the other hand. is the same or slightly better than brown rice
