QUOTE(firdausbhari @ Jul 30 2020, 12:08 PM) I personally use exFAT for my external drives n thumb drives Need a format that can work in both OS exFAT has slower read/write time which i feel quite wasted using on a T5 and more prone to data corruption, so if possible i'd like to avoid that I read that it is possible to partition an external SSD to have both APFS & NTFS, if that is the case then that would be a dream setup lol Btw anyone interested in sharing purchase for Moft sleeve via Indiegogo? https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/moft-car...wOuNY8UkW_DAk#/2 pack is cheaper than single at the moment This post has been edited by Lego Warfare: Jul 30 2020, 12:45 PM

QUOTE(Lego Warfare @ Jul 29 2020, 11:45 PM) Not yet, I'm waiting for my Samsung T5 to arrive before installing games on Windows. At the moment only have WoW on MacOS lol. Are you using Blue or Red? I read Blue January is the most stable one? Have you tried gaming on external SSD? Not sure if I should go for NTFS or exFAT. I would prefer APFS but Windows doesn't support that right? I think if u want to game on ssd, better to use ntfs since it is easily supported in windows. Moreover u are going to use the ssd with windows right. I am using the blue version. Yes it is more stable. But lately I have deleted my boot camp and moved to Parallel since I don’t really game that much. With parallel I can use both Mac OS and windows at the same time.

With parallel I can use both Mac OS and windows at the same time. But I also want to use my SSD for my MacOS for direct photo/video editing lol. That's why I was thinking of partitioning APFS & NTFS into the SSD. I don't really want to spend more on another SSD... My 16" is only 16gb version, it wouldn't be enough to game on parallel I think... and it'll overheat faster running with parallels instead from bootcamp directly..

Was planning to get the T5 as well, until i found out the USB 3.1 deliver much faster data up to 900MB/s +- instead of 500MB/s +- Currently im using WD Blue 1TB + Orico Type C USB 3.1 enclosure Got my WD Blue SSD for quite good price. Total price was cheaper than Samsung T5 thats only 500GB. Good deal. Mainly using the ssd for video editing Attached thumbnail(s)

Mainly using the ssd for video editing I considered that, but i've read users with issues on overheating and corrupted drives while using the enclosures. Not going to take that risk,. I got the T5 1TB for just slightly more than the cost for a 1TB WD Blue SSD + Orico enclosure, so i'm okay with that.

Hi all... Quick question on battery management.
Is it alright to leave the MacBook plugged in 24/7 even if I switch off/ shut down?

I'm still wondering - why most people installing Windows on MBP? It is because of the spec that could run better Windows and for gaming? Just curious...
