Just had a weird automated call saying that our connection is about to get terminated "in two hours" because we breached the term or something and asking us to press so many button.  Anyone ever had this?

Can't go wrong with Deco M4 2 pack, quite surprised that TP-Link is giving it frequent firmware updates. Nothing is better at sub RM400 price point.

D-Link/Tenda mesh have just too many issues and not worth mentioning them.

the  surge protection in UPS  is minimal  . and not on par  with belkins  which is a dedicated  type 3 SPD .

i havent seen a  UPS which  specify  the level of surge protection in the specs. 
do you know how good  is the protection level  in your UPS.?  how many kA or joules  rating ? I guess you dont

belkins  is about 1400 joules . 3kA .
the MOV varistor in any surge protector dont  last forever. as they take the surge hits they die.
so need to replace with new  .

better to install  a SPD type 2 , 40kA  or higher  in your DB box for whole house protection .
this one have an indicator  . when the red flag pop up .  means time to replace.
they last for about 5 to 10  years or more  depends  if your area have more intensity of lightning strikes.

is it possible to request swapping the old btu for new?    or do they charge a fee for that. or not allowed?

My plan is 500Mbps (Turbo Upgrade 2018) RM179

Now it becomes RM236 (inclusive RM30 aneka pack) 

is there any way i can revert back to RM179 and get it as perpetual discount?

or should i change to other ISP like Maxis Fibre?

It's more like many are skeptical of their offer and 300mbps is overkill. 50-100mpbs is more than enough for many.

Me too also didnt take the offer looking since looking for a cheaper plan.

It seems Allo got the best value now.

I want to share my bad experience for switching the plan to RM139 300mbps with Basic Unifi TV (previous was Turbo Upgrade 2018 300mbps and whopping to RM209 at Nov due to discount not perpetual).

24 Nov I live chat with CS to switch the plan
24 Nov A Sales Rep was called and asked for TnC for another 24mths lock down period for agreement.
2 Dec They haven't switch my plan, hence checking with 100 and they asked me to wait due to current high backlogs for changing plan.
3 Dec Call 100 (give same execuse as 2 Dec) but saw from the ticket was auto closed in Unifi Portal - My Activity page
6 Dec Call 100 again and asked the same issue and found the ticket also closed from Unifi portal.
7 Dec Cannot stand for it anymore, lock the complaint to MCMC. And saw MCMC forwarded my complaint to Unifi CS and finally I can see Unifi CS is open the ticket (Not auto closed).
8 Dec Finally saw "Your order (Modify) was submitted." in My Activity.
8 Dec Call 100 and ask Billing department to rebate on whatever exceed charges due to delaying of my plan change. CS said need to wait until the new plan activated then can call 100 again asked for rebate on period (24 Nov - 8 Dec).

Very lousy service which required MCMC intervened then only they take serious actions.   

BTU is only for ISP use.

Since you are using mikrotik, the VLAN600 for the unifi connection we manual create it. how come no more and gone? you set it back if gone? similar to hypptv which is Vlan500 and also we manually set it.
