Now they give covr1100 as stock router ? So good, can extend with my covr1100 mesh.

Btw, 30mbps can stream 4k video smoothly ?

That's enough for a person - READ HERE - with no other heavy usage at the same time.

Yeah, theoretically it's enuff. But in TM  real world, is it no buffer when u use ? Want to know bcoz still deciding the plan & the telco for my broadband.
Don't expect to get 100% of the subscribed speed, and so, it should be hard to tell in real time.
In case you are worrying, why do you not consider getting Digi fiber 50mbps for RM90? With +20mbps more, it should do much better.
As a comparison, you just pay only RM1, SST not included, more than Unified 30mbps for RM89.

for first 3 months only.

Yes, it’s for 3 months only, yet it’s still cheaper than Unifi thereafter.
300mbps = Celcom @ RM149 ; Unifi @ RM199
500mbps = Celcom @ RM179 ; Unifi @ RM249

Furthermore, as soonwai said, Celcom gives AX router which is much better than router provided by Unifi.
However, Unifi comes with Unifi playTV, it’s not worth if you don’t watch it.

Quite useful I'd say. Since I can't get TM to remove my UnifiTV, lately I've been using UnifiTV on an android stick in my guest room whenever there's guest coming.

Well, I did say if he is not watching.
To me, considering paying RM50 more for 24 months for the Unifi Plus Box + Unifi TV, I would rather buy a “better” TV Box.

r these prices perpetual ? or they revert back to a more expensive price later on?  hmm.gif

also how is the latency like on celcom? any uptime issues?
these days i have not many issues with tmnut. but if can jumpship to something for cheaper with no issues, then i probly would  nod.gif

Those plans are their current offer with stated price, and it should remain for as long as you stay on the same plan.
I’m a new user of Unifi, and still under contract. So, idk if Celcom or other is good or not. To me, I would not mind trying any ISP that offer the best deals because I believe this fiber internet won’t have problem frequently.

This is especially to certain kampung2 area, if you can see FDP hanging around schools, balai raya, community halls and complexes, gov agencies complexes or any, the chance for the public to get your fibres pull from these unit is almost impossible ya. I've been told that these DPs paid to TM by the gov to that particular building.
Same as my case, after a year the DP unutilized by the school, I urged TM to open to the public and at last they agreed to open it.
*
The DP to my home is located at the front gate of a SRJK © school. I had asked many times if my area has Unifi fiber internet or not, asked around once every two months, and was always told “Sorry, you’re not in coverage”. Tried asking again this October 2020, I was surprised by the answer “TM technicians will come to install your fiber internet on X date”.

Probably, like what you said the DP is reserved for school, but now also open to public. That’s why suddenly got coverage.
