actually the reason something like dex is a game changer is because  there are alot of people out there that does not have pc. they use their phones as their main and only source of computing.

in this case, dex is extremely nice. ditch the laptops and consolidate your life into one device.

Been using the hdmi usb powered with a power bank if the tv doesn't have usb power.

And note 4 even had ir blaster which makes it even easier to control everything through just a phone.

You should try to think the phone is basically a remote control. Phone are easier to navigate compared to having to hook up a wireless keyboard+mouse for the tV box.

With phone, we navigate all the time with ease using fingers and searching for this and that.

if you want to see your previous app the current navigation method is abit tedious however if you just wan switch back and forth just swipe left at the area where u swipe ur home. u can switch between app easier and faster as compared to last time. feel dam smooth too
wireless is nice but wont be as efficient as wired.

with wireless u can connect laptop but not tv or monitor without wifi modules. wired is a more common method especially hdmi.
huawei's method is similar to note10's link to window function.
if u guys have windows 10 give it a try. quite similar but i think the app is still not mature yet tho. should be quite lackluster
tpu/plastic wont lift up but will have micro-scratches overtime.
im using mobile outfitters now.

personally I don't trust those voice gadget. One never know what they are recording and I hate scrolling with the on screen keyboard. that's why I prefer to use the phone as remote control
