QUOTE(Mike3 @ Feb 14 2020, 09:59 AM) hmm the only advice i can give is switch to 3g when u not using much for better stability. not all telco's line is good and 4g seems to have weaker penetration compared to 3g so if you are indoor 3g might save u some power if u are at the borderline of 4g connection (meaning switching to 3g and 4g to and fro automatically) some serious case will cause ur phone to warm up. hence im not convinced at all to own and 5g phones even for the next 3-4 years. malaysia still cant get their 4g rightyeah i did that. indoor 3g only and i only switch the network to 4g when im at home. or good area. the 5g in malaysia is a joke. i hope they do not messed with the note 20 saying its coming now with 5G and all that. coz we all know how bad the network is.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 14 2020, 11:11 AM) Poor 4G is dependent on one's location It is wrong to generalize it is poor throughout My place - both Celcom n Digi are good for me : at least 90Mbps consistently. This speed is more than sufficient for my usage did u mentioned 90bms? wow. all thru mine only max 10bms. im on digi btw. work area download 1.24mbps/upload 3.71mbps - server Digi Shah Alam. wtf. hahahaha This post has been edited by ridox_orimabu: Feb 14 2020, 11:43 AM

Some of u may wonder whats up with note 10 plus cant promise a day life battery with heavy usage. If i keep this up, the battery will be all drain out before 4.00pm. Lol so much for day battery promised.

QUOTE(Mike3 @ Feb 20 2020, 02:20 PM) ur sot is very high . u are using handphone 50% of the time to achieve this. are u on 4g all the time? Yes. All the time. Then my display max. No aod tho. This is why when people praised the note 10 plus for its battery, i just chuckled.

QUOTE(Mike3 @ Feb 20 2020, 03:01 PM) note10+battery isnt superb compared to competitor especially with exsynos. ur usage however is abit on the more extreme side tho. dont think got much flagship that can last so long one whole day with such abuse i see. once in awhile this is my type of usage. not all the time. Even if im on call and utube only for straight 2 hours, it is is okay. I did try to abuse it like this in the first week i got the phone. it seems the result are the same. ofcourse at the time, was on FHD. so i guess changing display does not affect much of the battery consumption. but who knows. its exynos.

QUOTE(Mike3 @ Feb 20 2020, 04:12 PM) hmm exynos got not much problem when continously use the problem arise when its idling. thats my 2 cents tho. whats ur previous phone. do u abuse it so much? i can get 6 hrs sot with 24hrs standby with 70% wifi 30% data 10-15% battery left my exp tells otherwise. b4 the note 10 plus, its only a Max Pro from Asus with 5000Mah. That also, to me, just performed abit better than the N10 plus. That's the biggest battery i have handled. I wanted to try the ROG II, but since im no hardcore gamer, using the phone will be useless just for casual usage. Which is why in the end i picked the Note 10 plus. Different story with Iphone though. haha.

QUOTE(Mike3 @ Feb 20 2020, 05:00 PM) hmm i never use before 5000 mah but the previous phone i use is 4000mah mate9. i feel changing to note10+ the battery life improve abit only. take note i using dark mode with note. what i can comment is, note10 battery drain during idle is bad but endurance during video watching/scrolling is good by the way note10+ only 4300mah which is 15% less than ur asus. iphone battery life is known to be exceptional especially with its pro max. overall note10+ is a one day phone for ppl at work rather than 2 days unless u dont really use ur phone very much. definitely not a half day phone. Guess Samsung need to further study this "power user" further. As i have proved there are cases like me where the phone will get abuse once in awhile. Unless, i do double device and leave the calls n whatsapp to my 2nd one. Lol. Note 10 plus only work and necessary stuff. Haha

QUOTE(attw @ Feb 21 2020, 08:01 AM) I had the Asus Max Pro M1 too and the phone can't be compared to the Note 10+ since it's an entry level to midrange offering - I bought the 3/32GB one and that was definitely entry level So when you said it performed better, I'm assuming you meant the battery life. Oh yeah, and the signal reception was better too Interesting. Thanks for the info! Definitely
