Well, I've always set my Samsung display setting to FHD so I think it'll be better. If it's 5 hours plus over two days then OK la, but if 5 hours in a day then most mid-range phones also can do that these days

Actually the specs are not too bad except for a lower res screen and an older processor. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack! I personally won't miss wireless charging, IP rating and DEX capability, but that's just me.

Yeah, the Exynos version of the Note 10 has relatively weaker signal strength compared to other phones. One method would be to force it to 3G as suggested above, but other than that, there really isn’t a solution for it, most people here have learnt to live with it. Others like myself have taken the more drastic route and sold off the phone

Give it some time, it’ll get better after a week or so of usage.

I can't tell the difference between QHD+ and FHD on all my previous Samsung devices which is why I settle for FHD. I read somewhere the battery consumption difference is minimal.

Yup, I'm happy with 5% or less battery drain with Samsung phones. I used to think it was an Android problem, but I've since owned an Asus, a Huawei, an OP7 Pro, a Realme and even a Xiaomi. They don't drain that badly overnight compared to the Samsung

Had that same problem where the port couldn't charge for my brother's Note 5 too back in the day, thankfully it could still charge wirelessly.

My Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 only drains at 2-3% overnight so far with all settings left on.

My S10 Lite running One UI 2.0 on Android 10 drained 2% from 10.30pm to 5.30am but it's too early to make any conclusions since it was just my first night with the phone. Let's give it a couple of weeks

Yes, poor signal will cause higher battery drain.

Since the imposed trade restrictions on them, I have not bought and tried any Huawei phones. A shame though, they do make good phones and can go toe to toe with Samsung which makes it better for us consumers.

I think they only gotten aggressive on power management lately. I remember my old Mate 8 and MediaPad M3 not being that bad - but that of course was a long time ago, hahaha.
