So far the best option is to run fb on ChromeThen run Chrome on its own internal forced dark mode
Seems to work well

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Dec 24 2019, 05:26 PM) The phone seems faster thoTakes awhile for the full update to initialise after the phone starts up, even Gmail updates in the background and takes awhile before the new dark mode version comes about |

Using tmax tempered glassDropped few times So far phone survived but the tempered glass gets flipped off the sides, can be placed back but not perfect anymore I use cheap self modded case Also back sticker for scratch protection |

New update to Samsung browser now easier to press on smaller icons or items without pin point accuracy, especially lowyat page navigation numbers

QUOTE(Joseph Hahn @ Dec 26 2019, 12:36 PM) No idea why people are scared lol. If you look closely, the fingerprint icon shifts around just like the clock. Only it shifts just by a few pixels. Because burn in was actually reported to happen due to the fp, despite shifting etcQUOTE(PeeEl @ Dec 26 2019, 01:13 PM) You just said it yourself. It shifts just a few pixels. Which means there will be over-lapping and some pixels will remain constant. This may therefore cause problems to the screen in the long run. Samsung recognises this and hence came out with the function. Yeah it actually happened anyway to some pplIt’s better to be safe than sorry. |

Just something interesting that although obvious it might not work in some phones but work on the note 10 plus. Screenshots from Samsung internet running YouTube on desktop mode, set on 4k and 1440p, then used the video assistant to full screen mode.
![]() 4k above, 1440p below, sightly higher file size on 4k ![]() ![]() Heavily cropped, 4k above, 1440p below, sightly higher file size on 4k, marginally clearer text on the 4k image ![]() Particularly here: ![]() Before you say this is obvious, occasionally 4k images put on 1440p may suffer more artefacts post resizing into 1440p, causing the images to be blurred. But due to the pentile arrangement of note 10 plus, the resizing may be actually sharper. Also no ads and you can play the video in the background. |

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Dec 27 2019, 10:40 PM) I not sure is ur guys already figure this out? Or maybe i just too late to know , we can actually hold the Home button and slide to right to change to other recent pages without need to press the Recent Button Was present in Android 9There used to be a button in the quick pull down menu for navigation bar toggle so i can use that function, (I'm using gesture) but it's no longer there But now can quick swap using gesture from the recent apps like epal style, make a curve turn, so i guess i don't need the nav bar toggle anymore |

QUOTE(chongkiatz @ Dec 27 2019, 11:16 PM) Ya , i never expect that this home button can work like Apple Gesture to slide and change to recent apps. Today i accidently press and it really susprise me I'm using gesture without any nav bar or hintsIf you use gesture, you can just pull from below a little then quick swipe left or right. Right bit more difficult to do because screen edge ![]() |

QUOTE(PeeEl @ Dec 28 2019, 01:35 PM) With this latest Android 10/One UI 2.0, I personally feel the battery usage details are not done in a manner that suit most users who want to know how long a charge can large and what is the SOT since the last charge. What to doIt now only gives information based on a daily basis. Epal wannabe lol |

QUOTE(Andrewtst @ Dec 30 2019, 03:32 PM) No need PC. DeX PC is not smooth. This function has been there since note 3. The fact that the phone is so powerful now makes a huge difference. It's basically a pcDirect DeX to monitor or TV will auto run the interface itself and smooth. You just need a USB-C to HDMI + USB Power out cable. Without the USB Power out cable will not able to operate the DeX. ![]() QUOTE(hightechgadgets8 @ Dec 30 2019, 08:41 PM) I thought that's one of the other gesture optionsYou can still have the old one from bottom right for back |
