I just got my M2, really good flying machine, build quality is great, don’t know drop how many time on floor from more than 6meter height top cover also cracked already and one time dropped in to the drain with water covered the half body when took it out, smelly water come out from it, quickly take out battery and wasted with clean water and hair blowing it for 30mins, and surprisingly still can fly as normal.

RM 14xx
It took some time to sell as there were many 1st gen Minis (and some almost new Mini 2nd gen)
being sold in the used market. There was even a guy who offered me 900 bucks for it confused.gif

I felt that a lot of ppl buy this drone on impulse, fly it a few times and then either got bored of it quickly or found no time for flying.

Bought it just before the initial MCO.
Yes its kinda fragile, so just fly it in an open space and rack up experience on it. Good luck

It's surprisingly durable. Not fragile at all......

Good enough for simple drone photography and aerial shots when moving about.

Some photos I took at Ninh Binh last week with Mavic Mini.

Very polluted air.... So visibility isn't good.

Mini2 wind fighting level is awesome, as long as not to excited to try fly in risking way and causing it fall from the sky, it will last very long.

To all sifus here, what is the best solution(s) for MM1 'signal' problem?

I thought the M2 is much better due to the occu-sync function.

Use parabolic reflector to boost signal strength

Or just upgrade to mm2 for occusync

I have the parabolic thing and also the fish bone thing. They only improved a bit. I still have the same problem.
I guess MM1 is a really poor product from DJI.
Yes, if I'm upgrading, it would be Air I guess.

It's using enhanced wifi transmission which is susceptible to interference, what'd you expect

If you want better transmission, can spend on drone with occusync

Because it was the cheapest other than dji tello... If they put all the best thing in it then nobody will buy the expensive Mavic

Hey guys, thinking of getting a Mini 2, so been doing some research on local regulation laws.

Contacted two different sellers .. Seems like the information i've gotten are

"Currently not necessary for license if for recreation"

and the other is

"Must apply permit from local municipal council "

I was thinking of getting one for just recreational use such as filming the coastline at the beach , taman-taman etc (when the pandemic finally allows)..

Also heard that they (assume some drone seller association) are appealing to some of the laws

Anybody can shed thoughts on this?

Thanks.

I think CAAM have not publish the latest on personal use drones regulation yet - hopefully soon. I’m holding back my purchase as well due to to this.

The DJI FPV looks very tempting, but that price 🥲
